Meet Toni Morales
Toni Morales is
The founder and director of You Rise Above (YRA)
Toni Morales developed and facilitated trainings and workshops for new businesses that stressed the importance of relationship building, sales techniques, and motivating employees. She completed several workshops, trainings and seminars on team building, managing for diversity, and leading by example. She has worked in both individual and group presentation settings, speaking about various sales, motivational and managing people for success related topics as well as leadership seminars.
Toni had been chosen to be a part of the mentoring program in her former workplace. Mentoring is a developmental relationship between a more experienced individual, a mentor, and a less experienced partner, a men tee. Through regular interactions, the men tee relies on the mentor’s guidance to gain skills, perspective, and experience. In this role, she mentored career women of diversity helping them to develop their career path, deal with work/life balance, develop relationships with key people in their company, and motivate others to succeed.
Toni has written about women in the workplace for Working Mothers Magazine, where her employer was featured as one of the top ten places to work for women. She is in the process of completing her first book about marriage/divorce and what happens in between.
Toni Morales has over 20 years of experience in the communications industry wherein she managed various teams of sales people, small business entrepenuirs and led recruiting initiatives. Toni was an advocate for her employer discussing issues such as work / life balance, the benefits of working for the company and the issues working mothers face.
Toni graduated from Northern Illinois University with Bachelor of Arts Degree. She has been scuba diving in the great barrier reef, Australia, and would love to someday visit France, Italy and Thailand. She has a passion for books, yoga, movies, wave running, traveling and learning about vegetarian cooking. She lives in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with her 3 children, a laid back cat named Emmitt and 2 new kittens, the Duchess and Damon.
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
